Deodar House

Deodar House is a small guesthouse in a 1911 bungalow above Coonoor, run as one of the properties on Forest Studio Hospitality. Five rooms, home cooking, and a verandah built for doing very little.

The house is on Sim's Park Road in Upper Coonoor, a short walk from the park and the Coonoor market, with the tea estates starting at the gate. Coonoor railway station — for the Nilgiri Mountain Railway to Ooty — is about three kilometres downhill.

Getting here. Coimbatore is the nearest airport and mainline station, about two hours by road via Mettupalayam. We can arrange a car.
